Shuling has stayed in Melbourne for years!!!

Thanks to her, Sam and I got to stay at her place for free!!!

This was another dinner done by Shuling.

She had very strong cravings for tempura prawns.

So, we made jap curry, tempura prawn and chicken, veg and rice!

p.s. I'm still pretty sore about not having a good restaurant-standard steak. haha! cos s'pore steak SUCKS TO THE MAX.
So excited when Sam found football channel!!!

Chelsea won the FA cup! 1-0!

It would have been much more exciting if I got to watch the EPL final match. 8-0!
Sam took a shot of me watching the match! hahha! I kept telling her not to talk to me! hahaha!!!!

It's quite a cosy place!!! Nice and warm.

BUT OH, jiaxi's ( Sam's friend's friend) place is amazing!!! Right smack in the city!!! The view is gorgeous!!! It's such a pity that I didn't quite explore her apartment cos of a cat. My damn phobia. I should have man!!! Wasted!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm home

So sad to leave Melbourne! The trip has been damn bloody awesome!!!!!!! I love everything about Melbourne.

I've learnt so much from this trip! Much more than I've in NTU. Studying doesn't teach us how to be smart in the real world. Seriously, studying makes people stupid. Going out to the real world is so much more fun and exciting!!!

Apart from learning to drive properly, how to read maps etc, I learnt a lot from the people over there!!!!!! I hated how superficial I was in NTU. I've learnt to be comfortable and be super confident with myself!

Okay. I don't quite make sense. But whatever!!! I love myself so much!!!

Oh man. I wish I can stay in Melbourne forever. Living there feels as though I was on exchange program!

I love it there!!! Thanks Sam, Shuling, Hui Jia and Jia Xi for making my stay there so awesome!!!

p.s. Sorry friends! I didn't buy any presents. haha! Only left 30 bucks on my last day in the airport. I spent 10 bucks on souvenir pens for myself, 10 bucks for red rooster (KFC like), 3.50 for a drink and 0.5o for donation. HAHA! I love it that I spent almost every single cent!!!

And what's best, at crown casino, it's smoke free!

More about Melbourne

Today will be the 5th day I'm in Melbourne but it feels as though I've been here for a year! haha! Everything feels so familiar! The streets at Shuling's neighbourhood and the weather made me feel as though I'm in Atlanta, the train feels like Paris's metro and the city feels like London. I love these feeling!

I can't decide where I like best. Albert Park where the F1 circuit is, or Puffing Billy where the scenery is amazing! I love it here so much!

p.s. CHELSEA WON!!!!!!!! 8-0. AMAZING. I kept waking up to check! hahaha! YAY!

In Melbourne!

Hello sisters and friends! I'm in Melbourne now! The weather is freaking cold. I love it! It's about 10degrees now. I HAD to buy boots and a coat! haha! Kidding. Can't believe I bought clothes that can't be worn in Singapore.

Anyway, I had a blast with Sam and Shuling! The 2 girls are seriously mad fun to be with! haha! So, what we did for the past few days was mostly shopping. The shopping here is damn good. There're so much things to buy! So, we mostly shopped and ate. haha!

And last night, we watched IPMAN2. I watched before already but 2 of them have not. And since IPMAN is so handsome, I don't mind watching it again. It's so much more fun watching in Aussie cos it's in canto and the ppl in the theatre are soooooooo excited!!! Everyone cheered for IPMAN!!! hahaha! Sam was super duper excited. haha! She shouted "aiyo" dunno how many times. haha! She made me so excited too. hahaha! IPMAN rocks!!!!!!

We went to Queen Vic market today. Walked like mad. My favourite part of the day was chit chatting on the grass patch outside the state library! The 3 of us lay down and just talked! Plus the weather was so shiok! I love it!!!

I'm loving Melbourne!!!

A day before Melbourne!

One more day before Melbourne!!!! My grad trip with Sam! How amazing! She was my very first friend in NTU. And now, we're going together!!!

What I did today was my internship report, packing, and slacking!!! Sister's "dayout" with Sarah!!! We slacked at home together. What we did was eat and watched Meteor Garden, the Taiwanese version. hahaha! I used to be sooooooo addicted to F4. Watching them now makes myself disgusted with my taste. I hate weak, soppy, wimpy guys! Exactly the way F4 was portrayed. But it was still good fun watching! haha! Laughing at those wimps!

Ip Man 2

Most awesome show I've seen for this year!!! oh, but bear in mind I only watched 4 movies, including this for this year. HAHA! Avartar was boring, Alice in Wonderland was funny, Date night was just okay, and IPMAN WAS THE BEST!!!!!!!

I've never felt more proud to be a Chinese! I'm sure everyone in the theatre felt the same way! Especially this lady who sat in front of me. She threw punches in the air when IPMAN won! (shall not say much, for the benefit of those who haven't watch). Please watch! Especially those who jia kan tang. (as in only worship the english. haha!)

I admit I used to think that the ang mohs are way cooler. But, I'm very proud of my chinese roots!!! haha!

okay! Everyone go watch IPMAN! Don't watch Ironman. hahhaa! KIDDING! Haven't watched Ironman and doubt I'll watch anytime soon.

It doesn't suck to be me!

I was so emo yesterday! Guess it was the thunderstorm. haha! Perfect weather to emo. And also, I was reading other's blog. And I realized most of the girls of my age have so much money! They've LV, Gucci, Prada merchandise. And what do I've? haha!

I'm so cheapo. One stupid haircut and I grumbled so much. BUT, thanks to very enlightening friends, I realize I've something they don't have! hehe!

Being pretty aside (KIDDING!), I went to soooooooo many countries for exchange and travelling! I've got very nice parents who pay for everything! Ever since NTU days, I went to so many countries with so many different people! So I'm very very lucky!!!

Others spend their money on bags. But I spend mine on travelling. So I'm just as bad. haha! Always spend money. It just depends on where the money is spent on! And whether it's worth it or not depends on the person too!

Melbourne in a few days! yay!

So glad my exams ended so early! haha! On 27th April. Good luck to those who end on the last day! HAHA!!! okay i shouldn't laugh. I've got internship work to do too! Giving myself 1 more day! Good luck to me!

Freedom?!

I'm done with exams!!! Korean was a killer. Hope I get an S. I'll just die if I fail. Please!!! I'm that desperate this time.

I dunno why I didn't have enough time! Everyone thought it was okay. Maybe I spent too much time cursing and swearing at how tedious it is to read the question paper. I think I'm kind of cock eye. I spent so much time reading!!! And the words were way too small. Sian leh! I took very long to read the passage. Nvm. No more korean for life. I just wanna go korea for fun.

I brought my camera to school today. But no time to take pictures. After the exam, it was so dark! I thought I can leave the exam hall early. haha! Dumb thinking.

I'm so glad to meet psy people after the paper!!! Charlene, Huey Hui and Bascilia. It's the first time I talk to Bascilia! She stays in Yishun and Hall 11. SAME AS ME! I miss out so much on the psy people. Like what Charlene said, she feels like a loner. I feel the same way too!!! If only we knew, we could have sort of hung out together. I do wish I've been more enthusiastic in psy! There are so many nice peole around! Wasted. haha!

Hall girls meet-up!

I finally get to meet up with Amy and Shu Hui!!!!! My block 55 hall mates!!!! I love them so much! We can gossip about everything under the sun! From my stupid $55 haircut, the my prof, to everything other things!

I'm very very irritated by a lot of unethical people! I defined ethics according to SPS (singapore psy society) ethics code. haha! Funny but seriously, it makes sense!!! When I was so pissed with my stylist, Mr T, I linked it to some the ethics code. He used to be a very good freelance stylist! Now he's in some high class saloon in 313. I can't even rmb the name. saloon chevim (?) haha! i dunno. Think it's some french words. Now it sounds like some hokkien word, cheem. HAHA!

1. Responsibility: He was so not responsible!!!! He made me wait so long even though I had an appointment. He was running around in midst of attending to me. In the end, I spent an hr plus in the saloon, with him being with me for only 15 mins. I went there for his service! Oh, plus, I told him I had to leave by 1.45. But he still made me wait.

2. Competence: I've nothing to say about this cos he's very good. I've been with him ever since 2008! I never complain after his haircut!

3. Client Welfare: TOTALLY NO. Super irresponsible. The washing, blowing and non-existent styling wasn't done by him. The stupid hairblower (the girl who blow dry my hair) kept pissing me off!!! The stupid cord kept hitting my face. He seemed apologetic when I SMS him on how unhappy I was with his service. He said he'll give me a free hair treatment! When I asked if friday was fine, he took damn long to reply and asked if mon is okay! At the point, i was thinking, forget it. He just lost a valuable customer. Not 1. But FOUR OTHERS. (My mom, 2 sis and AMY!)

I missed the times where he freelanced! He'll do everything nicely and there's student price!!! And it'll be below $40. Now it's bloody $55!!! (I rounded up slightly. abt 53 or smt). SO DAMN EX. $55 is like a quarter of the amt in my bank account!!!

Oh whatever! Now amy and I has to go searching for another good one. We've always believed in quality hair cuts! (cos we don't do that often. and it makes a diff!) But anyway, doubt I'll never ever pay so much for a haircut. Waste money! Shall find those friendly neighbourhood auntie who won't charge more than $20!!!

Anyway, I met Amy and SH at Seoul yummy! It's sooooooooo yummy!!! We love Korean food! omg. I just thought of a place we can go too!!! KOREA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Say I'm pretty, NOW.

It's so funny when Amy sms-ed me to tell me that her friend said I'm pretty. haha! Yes, I'm flattered. However, I know where I stand!

For many years and many years ago, I used to think that I'm drop dead gorgeous. HAHA! No kidding. My confidence is just overwhelming. In other words, very buay huiay bai (okay seems off. haha! But it means shameless.)

In NTU Hall camp, there's a segment which is hall pageant. Obviously, I won't wanna be there. But I secretly (not so secretly now) hoped to get picked! HAHA! okay it's so lame. I just wanna get picked for the sake of it! I thought I looked okay. Even though I looked like this:

I look ugly, but never have I felt the left out. Maybe cos naturally when u're overseas, nobody knows u and u dunno anybody. I dunno la! But I felt so comfortable being myself over there! Even when I looked super bad, I don't care!
