I do love my monster. Jeffrey gave me a monster. hahahaha. I was such a brat to whine about the heavy and bulky monster. But as my dad just said, cheap things no good, good things no cheap. $2.7K monster for V day. I'm amazed.

Monday blues

Yes the blues hit me real hard today. But, I'm sure something awesome has happened during the day. Mental block. I can think of a thousand things that went wrong. Gotta think of something good!!! Jialat. Are things that bad? Seems like it. Nothing worth smiling over. There has got to be something.

Shit I guess it has been a really bad day. Not even pineapple tarts can perk me up. And worse of the worst, I don't feel any CNY mood. Real sad. Is tomorrow going to be a repeat of today?

Why no iPhone?

I'm still using a dummy Nokia phone. Contrary to it's name, I think it's a very smart phone! Cos it helps me to save money.

As an easy and smart traveler (HAHA! pls give me credit to something I'm good at), I know mobile phone charges can be insanely high! Thus, my phone doesn't work overseas!!! Thanks for helping me to save money! I can't sms at all, and I'm unsure about calling. Whenever I need to call home, I"ll just find a public phone!

Also recently, a friend of mine incurred a super high amount of data roaming charges! Madness! I'll go berserk if that happens to me.

So, I shall stick to my very smart Nokia phone, till the end of its time.

p.s. I know data roaming can be turned off. And it's pointless to bring a non-working phone overseas. BUT I like it. haha! Yeah I don't quite make sense. Whatever! haha.

Karting!!! In China!

GUESS where am I???
In Zhuhai, china! We went to Zhuhai for a day trip. The main reason of going there was actually to shop. But, shopping is soooooooooo boring!!!

I'm so glad Jeff found out about the racing track!!! Freaking awesome place! Can forget about going to Kartright (Singapore) forever!
The helmets are sooooooo new! haha! Seems like karting is an expensive sport for the locals.

And don't have to wear stupid hairnet. Gotta wear one in Kartright.

The karting track! It's so much easier and smoother to drive! Gotta brake only a few times! At the sharp corners. Singapore's track is so tiny that there're so many corners. Need to brake every time!

Old rundown housing estate. Nothing like the glamorous casinos.
Macau is all about racing too! Unfortunately, the grand prix museum was closed on Tuesday. And we were there on that day.


Look like vegas desert? haha! The outskirts of Macau have nothing, but these bare plants.
We hiked for half an hr to the race track in Macau. BUT, it's closed for an international karting event!!! Damn sian. We walked so far to kart, and it's closed!!!

But, it's damn cool to be at an international racing event!!!


Finally some Macau food!!!

My relationship with Macau/Zhuhai is a love-hate one. Casinos are way too smoky. And way too many of them. BUT, I love it that both places are so racing-orientated!!! F1 to Macau again please!!!!

Macau and HK

One word to summarize the trip: Awesome!

HK never fails to amaze me, each and every time I'm there. FYI, It's the 5th time I'm there! Love the weather, the food, the attractions, and yes, even the people!!!

So, I went from Macau, to Zhu Hai, back to Macau, then to HK!

Macau and HK love Man U. haha! Everything is about Man u!

There's a huge store in Venetian exhibiting the Man U experience. Just like the theater of dreams.
My typical HK breakfast! Woke up almost at 11am every morning. Too late for proper breakfast.
I absolutely love ocean park! My 3rd time there and it's still as awesome as ever. Love the rides!!! Swear it's much more exciting than the kiddy rides in Disneyland. Though I've never been to HK disney, I don't find it a MUST go place. After all, I've been to the actual fun one!!! haha. As compared to ocean park, HK disney is not appealing at all. For the price I've to pay for disney, I would rather go to ocean park, twice.

Horse racing. Not that I endorse it. Quite cruel to see the jockeys whipping the horses. But, the horses do get first class treatment before and after the races.

At our super classy and obviously, expensive dim sum place. Not that fantastic for the price. But we couldn't quite find a cheap dim sum place near our hotel.

Guess that sums up my hk trip. Way too few pictures. Not the usual touristy kind of holiday. Good place to relax! But I guess it won't be for another 5 years before I go back to hk. Too many places to go!!!
