I've often told people that I look the best and the worse when I was in US. Best is during the winter period in Atlanta. I think cold weather makes the skin smoother and prettier!

My worse enemy is the sun. I get dark super easily. When I say dark, I meant black! haha!

Anyway, Amy, Sh and I formed a new club. The rejection club! hahaha! We kept getting rejected from jobs! It's good to have some kind of support group, like the alcoholic anonymous. So do join the club! HAHA!

Okay I'm just being lame. We need more confidence in getting a job that we like! I'm very sure we can get fun ones!!! Good luck to us! And to all those hunting for jobs!

It's so weird that I'm so into football now. I used to hate it! (Must be due to the Singaporean ah bengs.) No offence, but they taint the game!

So exciting to see Chelsea play! And yes, even Man Utd.

Watching football makes me wanna go UK again!!! I miss London.

My internet connection sucks! Kept hanging. Lucky never hang when Chelsea scored. haha! And it's the 95th min. Yay! Chelsea won, yet again! hehe! Arsenal was good though.

I think I've obsessive compulsive disorder. haha! I keep checking my emails! I dunno why. Even on a Saturday! I wish for the day I can be free from emails. (NTU emails).

I also always do check my hotmail. But I loved that! I loved getting letters, airline fliers, lonely planet newsletters etc. And also confirmation email from Wei Wei that my shoe item has arrived from korea! hahaa. I don't normally buy things online. But the shoes are cheap! And Wei wei is so nice! (she's val's friend, btw. ) So glad I bought them.

7 more days to CNY!!! A little disappointed that I still don't feel the CNY mood. Cos everyone is so busy! No time to buy decorations, no blasting of CNY song etc. So, I'll go to chong Pang to buy new yr decorations! Hopefully soon.

We opened our new yr hamper! So upset that my dad gave one away.

Korean

I'm taking korean now. It's really interesting.

But I cringe every time my teacher mentioned K-pop stuff. Like super junior, (i can't rmb anymore. HAHA!) The only korean I probably know is only Park Ji Sung, which I was mortified cos the guys in my class dunno who he's!!! OMG. Park Ji Sung is a man utd player. I thought all boys watch soccer.

So anyway, my teacher is really cute! Whenever she mentions super junior, she'll sing" sorry sorry sorry" and do a very silly hand action. haha! So I though okay, I shall just go youtube to check it out. WAH. I CRINGED LIKE MAD. No offence to super junior lovers. HAHA! But who the hell are they? They look so weird!!! (Sorry val! u like them right?)

Then again, I love korean! The beauty of language. I can't wait to go korea someday!!! The scenery there is beautiful! And I wanna ski there! (It seems cheaper than going to Japan, Switzerland etc)

Oh, I was watching Opera (i dunno how to spell her name) this morning and she interviewed Hugh Jackman!!! He hosted the Oscars last year! He's sooooooooo charming. This is what I call a real man. HAHA!

I get very irritated by people keep going on and on about how we should donate money to Haiti, how poor they are, how bad their situations are etc. No offence! Yes, it's a very sad thing that earthquake hit them and so on. But I hate it that some people here in Singapore are acting as though they're Samaritan.

It makes me sick. Do they even care??? In the midst of living in a life with luxury, partying and eating good food, they are advocating about Haiti. Ironic right?

How about the kids in Africa? Why not write about them???

Busy, again.

Siao one! At the start of the semester, I told myself I'm so going to take it easy and relax this semester! It's only week 2 and everything is piling up! But, I like to be busy! And it's my last chance. haha! So I'm not complaining that much.

Anyway, I was reading NTU tribune yesterday and I kept cringing at the poor grammar! The grammar in my blog is not perfect. But, this is so informal! Tribune is a newspaper for the school! I only read the forum part. So maybe the editor wanted to leave the letter as it's.

This, in turn, shows the bad grammar of NTU students. HAHA! Like WTH. They're writing in to a newspaper. So shouldn't their English be at least proper? Then again, I've a feeling those letters weren't written by locals. It's just a feeling! hehe!

Okay! I'm so tired. Sorry friends if I can't meet up. Even sorrier to Alicia! Had to cancel out meet-up on Tuesday. I'll make it up!

A very good friend of mine is going to NY today! Met up with her yesterday. I'm really very excited for her! It has been her dream to go on an exchange ever since she entered uni! She's so going to have lots of fun.

But I felt very angry for her at something. The previous batch of exchange students left stuff at their apartments and the current batch of students are going to take over. Those people demanded USD $50 from them each!!! Madness!!!

Those people claimed that they left their stuff there as goodwill. MY FOOT! They just don't wanna bring back their trash. (Not literally, but still!) Please lor! I'm sure with USD $50, Val can get brand new stuff from walmart or target.

Can't believe those NTU students are so selfish! Apparently, it happened to Val's friend who went to San Diego for exchange. Gosh. Those students asked for USD $100!!! SELFISH!!! So disgusted with NTU students.

I remembered when I left Atlanta, I left all my stuff with the Malaysians. They were so happy!!! I can't imagine demanding money from them. What's wrong with kids nowadays??? HAHA!

First day of school

I'm receiving so many belated birthday presents! I'm loving it! haha.

Clinical psychology seems interesting! I didn't feel so sleepy. haha! Maybe cos Claire was rushing like mad throughout her slides. She was so energized and she seemed so excited! So not the Claire I knew from her other class, hp307. So I guess it's a good start to the new year!

Btw, my hard disk crashed and I lost all the pictures! My travel trip pictures are gone!!! So I need them! France, Langkawi, KL, Bangkok... Luckily most of my friends have them. I'll only lose some. But it's soooooooo troublesome!!!

At least I got a brand new (internal) hard disk. But still, crap!

I finally get to drive like mad!!!

As the title suggests, I finally get to drive here and there!!! Whee! Normally, I only get to drive around Yishun, which is so boring. But today, I drove to and fro Bugis, to MacRitchie, to AMK hub and home!!! So exciting! I even got lost. HAHA! But the very smart me didn't panic. I looked around, and decided that I was really lost. So, I had to call Jeff. I was practically shouting into the phone. But I managed to reach my destination!!!

Gosh, I love to drive!!! It shall be my hobby. But I'll increase my carbon footprint by like tenfold. haha!

SQ interview

Yes, I went for SIA interview, with Sam!!! So glad that Sam was with me. I could have died of boredom without her.

So anyway, the good news is, I made it past the first round. The bad news is, I didn't make it past the 2nd round. But I'm totally fine!

It was kind of fun! Sam was hilarious! So cute when she answered.

During the 2nd round, we had to play some games. I've a feeling they think i'm a guy. Cos they grouped me with the guys. Seriously! We won the game, and I got damn hyper. HAHA!

Then the next round was the management interview. I thought I did pretty well. But maybe I talked a lot.

A word of advice, be gentle and demure! hahaha. And super graceful. Don't talk too fast or get too excited, like me!

But I had fun today! Met lots of nice people, like Denise and celine. Really cool people.

Job phone interview

I received a phone call from a company which is so not interested in me. haha! cos I'm not even 2nd upper, which was the bare minimum requirement. So anyway, the lady just interviewed me, based on normal procedure.

So she asked, " What are your short term and long term goal?"

In my mind, Short term= hitting a high score for bejewelled. (an ipod touch game.)

Long term= travel round the world!

Omg! I"m so super excited. Just saw Dan Brown's The Lost Symbol iPod application. So happy!!! I'm going to download it. And, I'm currently reading Eclipse! I love iPod touch application!!!!!!! Saves me so much money from having to buy the real thing. Everyone should have an iPod! haha.

Trauma

What's more traumatizing:

1. The reverse bungee (damn scary!)

2. Watching a very traumatizing video of head cutting (real footage!)

3. Going to Bishan for prawning. And getting surrounded by cats and rats.

Enough said. haha! 1 & 2 are indeed scary. But i enjoyed the first, and kind of got desensitized to the no2. I almost died while prawning. I swear never to go back. I hate cats!
