The weekend.

The fried eggs I made for breakfast on Sat. It's horrible! My sunny side up became fully cooked yolk. But I'll learn to make the perfect egg. (the Samuel method. ha!)


It snowed again! This time, I was super excited when JX told me. Snowball fights are always fun!

Psycho us at some civil war memorial park. The museum was really BORING. haha! JX and I were laughing non-stop at Steph and Guo Xin who actually found it interesting. ha! They were reading every single bit of info from the start of the exhibits till the end!


Look at my hoodie. It's smeared with chocolate from the chocolate banana! I was so embarrassed. I wanted to hide from the rest but Samuel saw. It doesn't look that bad in the pic. But it's disgusting. Can't stand myself for being such a messy eater.

I love the weekend! We didn't do much as compared to last week but I like how slow things went. It's nice to be able to slow down our pace and enjoy each other's company.

oh! I forgot to mention factory outlet. omg. It's just like heaven. Everything there was so cheap! I bought like mad. But can't be compared to JX. haha! She bought 3 coach wallets, 3 pair of keds shoes ETC. I was rather mild. Just a few stuff from Guess, Adidas, Roxy and Aerostopole. So damn exciting to shop! I can't wait to go there again soon!

It snowed more in the evening! It's damn amazing cos based on what Kate (my housemate) said, it doesn't quite snow in Atlanta. It hasn't snowed since 2 yrs ago!

omg. It's snowing in Atlanta!!! Totally didn't expect to snow. So pretty! We ran outside to take pics but it got damn cold. I'm in my room now watching the snow and sipping hot milo. So shiok!

A little German town.

I had so much fun on sat and sun! We went on road trip! Not exactly that far. A 2hrs drive to a little German town, Helen. It was awesome! The scenary, the people, the food... There were so much to do that we had to stay over at a motel. It was hilarious in us trying to get a motel. I shall keep the details only to us! haha.


The scenary is fantastic!!! The waterfalls, the park, the buildings... There were so much to take but my camera died on me. And the others too! But luckily Samuel's camera managed to last throughout. Here are some pictures!

Coolest night ever!

Tonight is definitely the coolest night ever since I came Atlanta. We rented a car!!! Jeff is a damn gd driver. It's so weird that I trust the guys I knew last than 2 wks as compared to my other friends back in S'pore. (no offense, but it's really different and difficult driving in US and Jeff did a great job!)

JX and I didn't manage to watch the kiterunner yesterday due to miscommunication and lots of other stuff. The guys were damn sweet, as they wanted to accompany us to watch a movie today to sort of compensate. But everyone looked so tired! And there wasn't any nice movie anyway.

It's factory outlet tml!!! An hr drive from GT. yay! I love car rides. ha!

It's freezing now. Think cos it rained last night and it might rain later. I love the weather here! It's damn nice to jog in the evening. The rather cool weather, the sunset, the squirrels scampering ard... Gosh, I'm beginning not to miss S'pore. Well maybe except my family, friends and the FOOD!!!

I cooked!

I cooked for the 1st time ever in my life! (1st proper meal) Not only me, but with JX and the IH guys. I made mashed potatoes! (hall ppl, u shld know who I learn from right? haha!) I almost died mashing. So much work! The potatoes were so damn hot and I've to peel them. And I've got to dig out some buds or dunno what it's called. So glad everyone finished it! Thou I think it's a bit gross, by the way I prepared them.

JX did the fried fillet thing (was damn delicious!), Samuel made asparagus (nice!!!) and Jeff did Campbell soup (no comment. ha! But gd job on the 1st attempt). To give Guoxin some credit, he washed the dishes and unwillingly finished my mashed potatoes. ha! I love having dinner with the IH ppl.

The IH ppl are watching kite runner!!! I wanna watch! Siti introduced the bk to me. Seems damn gd based on the 1st chap, but didn't get to finish reading. Hope to watch it!

Anyway, sch has been fun! One thing I like abt American classes is that it's only for an hr ( but is for 3 times a wk). I'll never feel sleepy in class. But I can't afford to be sleepy cos no notes are given! Only a basic outline, which is made up of a few keywords. Got to catch whatever the prof is saying and jot notes down. Not like in NTU. ha! Don't go lect also can catch up rather easily. omg. The IH ppl are mad. They went to the library after dinner to do readings!!! I'm still slacking, as usual. Got to start searching for textbooks!

Where's the HOKKIEN MEE?!!!

It's so amazingly weird that I adapt so well to US! I do miss home a bit. I dreamt abt shop! haha. (My dad's shop.) And the food!!! hahaha. Mom, I miss ur cooking!!! But JingXuan did a great job in making me fat. haha!

I'm so glad that she's my housemate!!! I'll die being alone. No food, no one to talk to etc.

On the food topic, we (mostly she) made wanton mee with za jiang mee sauce. It was SUPER spicy! haha. But the noodle has the HK flavor. Nice! And on dunno which day, the IH ppl made spaghetti! Mostly Samuel! He can bake also. haha! Amazing right? I was in my room the whole time fixing the laptop. I'll learn to cook , someday. ha!

School is starting tml. Rather excited! So glad I'll have the same class with the both psychos! haha.

Things have been great so far. So dad & mom, don't worry!!! haha.

Oh! We went to chinatown. I didn't eat anything. CAN U BELIEVE IT?!!! I was trying so hard to distract myself from the cha siew from aaron and ying yang!!!! OMG. It looked damn gd. But I had a lot for breakfast! hahaaha. omg. I was in agony!!!!!!!! They're nice to offer me. But once I start, I can't stop. So better not to start. haha!

Anyway, I'm so happy with my life now! haha. Definitely more fun than when I'm in NTU. Guess it's the weather. But it's so sad that I'm gonna miss CNY. The funnest festival of all. I want ba gua, pineapple tarts and love letters!!! Keep some for me! Will gorge when I get back!

On a pretty random note, MCR rocks!!! hahaha. Not that u guys dunno. Listening to mama now! Rocks!!!

GT has been great! Great weather (just a bit too cold), nice GIP mates (even though I dunno half of the ppl's name.), not too bad hostel room. But, registration was a killer! We (me, Jing Xuan and Steph) had to run ard campus to seek approval and permit for subjs. Super tiring!

I'm kind of hungry now. haha! Cold weather makes me hungry! Guess I might be able to gain 5kg here.

Oh! I'll be going to see a basketball team between the hawks and LAkers! NBA!!! So damn cool. And I can't wait to go to the ZOO! I seem to be the only one interested.

In Atlanta!

HELLO! I'm in Atlanta. Rather nice hotel room view. Mac was horrible. But was at least better than plane food.
It was damn boring on the plane! No inflight entertainment from Japan to Minneapolis. But met a damn hilarious ang moh kid. I taught him to say "wang ba dan" and said to every stewardess he thought was Chinese. Crazy fellow. But interesting ! haha.
Will try to email ppl soon! Meanwhile, i'll try to update! Super tired now. Gonna sleep soon!

Star Awards

Ming Dao is so cool!!! haha! (As seen from Star awards). And I'm so glad Yvonne Lim won the best actress award. Totally deserves it! She played her role in Metamorphosis damn well. She's so pretty and scary (a bit no link. haha!)

Cheesy but I love Star awards! Never fail to watch it every year! The top 10 award thing is rather childish. It's just a popularity award. Doesn't care whether the actors are good or not. Will never see such thing at the oscar. haha! But it's fun to watch those who didn't get the award. haha! Those sour grapes.

SEBASTIAN TAN!!! where were u?!

My sis and I went for the play Lord Of The Flies. We were trying to find Sebastian tan but couldn't! We thought a thin scrawny guy was him. Turned out that he didn't couldn't act in the play due to an injury. I was so disappointed!!! I like him ever since A Twist Of Fate.

But, Shane was in it! We saw a familiar looking cute guy and it's him( from Eye For A Guy 2)! The cutest cast. haha! The play was great! Esp the smoke effects and the lighting. Made the play rather scary and dark. I like the small cosy theatre. We were damn close to the stage! It's like being up close and personal with the cast. haha. I want to be in one someday! Don't mind being a prop. haha! Can't wait for my next play! Even better if there's Sebastian tan!

I met up with Valerie before the play. Love gossiping with her! haha! So hard to believe that I'm close to her, considering I'm super low profile in hall and among the juniors. So glad to know her! She shares the same sentiments about hall shit. haha!

I'll definitely miss her when I'm away in US. Valerie! Must update me constantly through msn! haha!

AWESOME concert!!! THE BEST!!!!!!!!! DAMN shiok to jump, scream and sing along. It's the best thing ever since holi! SO glad I went for it. I didn't want to go inititally cos cldnt find company. But was surprised Amy likes them! haha. Thought she won't like rock songs. Her taste is like mine! haha. No classical for us. MCR will do!

On my damn belated birthday party

I'm SOOOOOO thankful to those who came down on my birthday party on sat! Was rather surprised at the turn out. Considering:
- my place is so damn ulu
- there's marathon the next day
- there's still exams in nus
- there're more parties to attend
- some had to work till late

Thanks to all for coming , for the presents and for finishing the food. Lucky there aren't much leftovers (cos those would have been my breakfast, lunch &dinner for the rest of the wk. ha!)
