Off soon!

I'm flying off soon! Yay! haha. can't wait. It's going to be so much more exciting this time! I'm going with someone I barely know. It's so amazing race like! It's just the 2 of us to France, Spain and UK. haha!

I'm taking Malaysian airlines, highly recommended by YK! haha! YK is a msian friend from US! I'm flying off this sunday!!! Super fast. Even though most of the things backed home is settled, FYP is so not. It's so scary!!! Nothing is confirmed yet. I hope everything will be fine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

See you guys when I'm back!!! July 10th. Provided I don't extend. haha!

Around Margaret River

It was quite pathetic as we only saw 2 billy goats and a cow.

We didn't even get to really feed the animals!

Not what I thought about farm stay.

But I like farm!

Very spacious. I can be a farmer!

Cave day!

Mammoth cave!

It's a self guided tour.

So we took our own sweet time to walk about.

This should be the Lake cave.

My favourite!

There's a lake in the cave. (which explains the name)

It's so cold and quiet inside.

And super dark too.

So weird that some animals actually live inside!

The 3rd cave we went to is the Jewel cave.

No picutres yet. Gotta get from the rest.

It's the largest cave in Australia!

A bit about caves:

Everything is natural!!!

So amazing.

It's formed by the erosion of the rocks.

From there, it forms a nice concave shape, which becomes the cave!

Btw, the largest cave in the world can be found in...

MALAYSIA!!!

Fremantle prison

The title says it all!

It's another must go attraction in Perth!

The prison was closed down in the 90s.

We had a damn nice seafood lunch.

Super fresh. Quite expansive.

But super satisfying!

Harper's Island

HAHA! Rottnest Island is just like Harper's Island!

I watched the 1st episode of Harper's Island the day before this.

I kept saying Harper instead of Rottnest Island.

At the harbour before we board the ferry.

We could have snorkeled there!
But we didn't rent the gear.
I dipped in the water.
It was freezing!!!

We had to cycle throughout the island.

It's impossible to cover the entire island by foot.

It's super tiring cos there're many slopes.

But, I love it when it's down slope.

We went super fast!!!

We didn't see any as we were cycling.

But we saw one near the food centre!!!

I love the island!

It's a MUST go when in Perth.

But beware.

It's not for the old and weak. haha!

It's really too intensive!!!

I'll want to go back there next time!

But it'll be better to stay over night at the island!

Lancelin + Pinnacle desert

We were on the monster truck!

Super fun!!!

The truck would take us up and down the sand dunes.

Those sand dunes are HUGE.

So it's like a roller coaster ride.

We had to buckle up!

They're pretty nice people.

At one point in them, on of the girls actually blurted out:" You 4 guys should ..."

haha! Hilarious.

Perth city + Kings park

Jeff and I on the CAT bus.

We chose to tour around the city instead of doing shopping at the factory outlet.

We're so not into shopping, unlike the nbs girls.

What's best is that the CAT bus is a free bus service!

So, we roamed round the city on it.

The ride was so comfortable that I fell asleep for a short while. haha!

We dropped off at some random spot to change to another CAT bus.

We took the bus to King's park.
It was pretty cold.
BUT, the walk up was damn long and tiring that I got damn warm.

There's a section in King's Park that's dedicated to the Australians soldiers who died in WW2.

It's a war memorial site.

I love the casino. haha!

I can foresee myself being an addict someday.


p.s. I did the post on friday but I went to check my results at midnight. I felt neither happy nor disappointed. haha! Think I'm immune to the same kind of results I obtain all these sem. I think the only way I can be a perfect student is to be one in US! haha!
